MARY V. Age 85, born March 3, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, passed away November 15, 2016 in Grand Ledge, MI. She is survived by her brother Gordon A. MacDonald, sister Elizabeth (Dean) Brandon, five nieces, and was predeceased by her parents Maj. General Gordon and Hurteline MacDonald, and brother Allan D. MacDonald. Mary attended Redford HS and MSU, then was employed at the Dearborn Historical Museum for 50 years, beginning as their artist, ending her career as the Museum Director. She was a member of the Dearborn Rotary Club, Zonta, Antique Questers, Historic Memorials Society, DAR, UDC and others. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 21, 2016 -11:00 a.m. at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan, Dearborn, MI 48124, with entombment at Acacia Park Cemetery, Beverly Hills, MI. Visitation will be held Sunday 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the Dearborn Historical Society or Dearborn Animal Shelter.
