Mr. Joseph W. Marshall, 92, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016, in the Langdale Hospice House, Valdosta, GA, following an brief illness.

Mr. Marshall was born December 25, 1923, in Concord, Georgia to the late Stephen Henry Marshall and Annie Mae Marshall. He was a Shift Supervisor for Hemphill Water Treatment Plant and was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church in Greensboro, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Milton Marshall and one daughter, Claudine Loudermilk and son-in-law, Doug Loudermilk.

Survivors are two grandchildren: Gail & Wyman Smith, Homerville and Mark Loudermilk, Eatonton; three great-grandchildren: Erick & Jamie Lee Smith, Danny Smith and Kalyn Loudermilk; five great-great grandchildren: Mackenzie Smith, Wyatt Smith, JD Smith, Jaylee Pearson, Aleese Pearson and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Marshall will be held Monday, November 21, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Lakeside Baptist Church, Greensboro, GA.

Interment will be at 1:00 P.M. in the Crestlawn Cemetery, Atlanta, GA.

The family will receive friends Sunday November 20, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lakeside Baptist Church, Greensboro, GA.
