He married Anne Elizabeth Hickman on 31 Jul 1815, Waccamaw, Brunswick Co., NC. She was born 1794 in North Carolina, and died Aft. 1870 in North Carolina.

1814, Elisha Sellers, muster roll of the 3rd NC Militia Regiment (War of 1812)

1819, Elisha bought 90 acres of land on the north side of Caw Caw Swamp, where his father Thomas had purchased 75 acres in 1816.

5 Mar 1831, Elisha sold his 90-acre parcel of land on the northwest side of Caw Caw Swamp "at the mouth of Cow Branch" to Samuel Sellers.

8 Sep 1870, Elisha bought 618 acres of land adjoining the south side of the Lockwoods Folly River and on the north side by Levi Swain.

12 Apr 1841, his father Thomas Sellers was granted 50 acres on the north side of Fall Swamp, a branch of the Lockwoods Folly River. The grant included "Samuel's improvement" and was adjacent to "Elisha's corner". Elisha owned land adjacent to Royal Oak Branch and Lockwoods Folly River.

23 Jul 1842, Elisha gave his son Hanson 100 acres of land.
9 Jan 1849, Elisha bought 200 acres more land in the Fall Swamp-Royal Oak Branch area.

3 Dec 1842, Elisha bought 620 acres of land on the west side of the Lockwoods Folly River.

27 Feb 1860, Elisha sells his son Hanson 200 acres more of land on Royal Oak Branch.

2. Mary Amanda Sellers (22 Feb 1822, Brunswick Co.-05 Mar 1864, Supply, Brunswick Co.). She married Levi Bonaparte Swain (24 Feb 1823, NC-28 Oct 1876, NC) Aft. 1844.

Notes for Mary Amanda Sellers:
Amanda Sellers Swain died during the Civil War, leaving eight children, the youngest, only about six weeks old. Her husband was a Confederate soldier stationed at Fort Caswell, (probably a prisoner of war at the time). She determined to go to see her husband, but there was no way of transportation, except to walk. She walked, carrying her baby in her arms, the neighbors caring for the other seven children. The Baby was Daniel Lennon Swain. The distance was about 25 miles from her home in Shallotte to Fort Caswell.
Returning, night overtook her, she stopped near Supply. to spend the night with Mrs. Llewellyn Leonard, suffered a severe headache, died before morning, only 42 years old. Her husband lived 12 years after her death.

Notes for Levi Bonaparte Swain:
Levi Swain was a Confederate soldier stationed at Ft. Caswell. It is believed that he was a prisoner of war.
