Nancy Carol Alley Akers, age 74, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016.
She was born January 20, 1942 in Wythe County, the daughter of the late Howard Richard Alley and Guida Mabe Alley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Roger Akers; three brothers and two sisters.
Nancy is survived by her son, Richard Akers; two daughters, Sherry Jackson and Nancy Diane Topper; four grandchildren, Justin Jackson, Lindsey Jackson, Daniel Topper and Kaitlyn Akers; great grandchild, Waylon Taylor; brother, Wilson C. “Jimmy” Alley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Reese Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
