He was born in 1860 in Kendall, Wis., and later went to Shullsburg where he was married to Miss Katherine Fleming in 1888. They subsequently moved to Platteville, which was their home for the remainder of their lives. Mrs. Boyle passed away in 1932.
Mr. Boyle is survived by eight children: Mrs. F.V. Baxter, of Dubuque, Mrs. Frank Heilman, of Galena, the Misses Clara and Mae Boyle of Madison, Wis., and Effie, of Dubuque, John L. Boyle of Richland Center, Wis., Raymond Boyle of Chicago, and Mrs. Harold W. Johnson of Freeport.
Information of Mr. Boyle's death arrived only a short time after the funeral of his son-in-law, Harold W. Johnson, which took place yesterday afternoon. Because of his own serious illness, Mr. Boyle had been unaware of the death of Mr. Johnson.
