OBITUARY:
Mrs. Lillie Oda Waller Walthall Goodbar, 83, of Jack Rees Nursing Home, died at 5:45 a.m. June 29, 1982, in the nursing home.
She was born May 21, 1899, in Level Run, VA., to Alexander and Crittie Elizabeth Lewis Waller. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Walthall, who died in 1944, and her second husband, James Goodbar, who died in 1962.
Mrs. Goodbar was a member of Second Baptist Church, where she was a deaconess, a Sunday school teacher for many years, and a member of the Missionary Society.
She is survived by a son, Robert Walthall of New Castle; three daughters, Mrs. Ida Towns of Macon, N.C., Mrs. Evelyn Dodson of Huntington, W.Va., and Mrs. Ann Harrison of Farrell; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Michael of Cleveland and Mrs. Ruth Hill of Philadelphia; two brothers, the Rev. Alfred Waller of Cleveland and Percy Waller of Waterbury, Conn.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Louise Holland; seven brothers; and three sisters.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in Second Baptist Church. A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in the church by the Rev. Alfred Waller of Shiloh Baptist Church, Cleveland, brother of the deceased; the Rev. Rosemond Kay of Shiloh Baptist Church, Erie; and the Rev. Joseph Langston, pastor of Second Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by J. Bradley McGonigle Memorial Home, Inc., 111 W. Falls St.
