Henry Garner, 90, died Tuesday at his home on RR 1, New Castle.
A native of Yadkin County, NC, he came to Henry County in 1900 and had resided her continuously since 1924. He farmed until his retirement in 1961. He was a member of the Cadiz Christian Church and the Farm Bureau.
Survivors include his wife, Loma; two daughters, Mrs. Pha Redding and Mrs. Sanford White; one son, Milo; and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie May and Mrs. Ben Saylor.
