Ora Mae Dees Boyd passed away Nov. 10th, in Norman, Oklahoma, going on to join her heavenly Father as one of His newest angels. She was 90 years of age.

She was born Nov. 28th, 1925, to George and Lettie Ann Braly, in Sterling, Oklahoma, where she grew up. After graduating from high school there, she met Ira Leslie Dees, and they married in 1959, making their home in Fletcher, Oklahoma, Ira passed away in 1968 and in 1977, Ora Mae married Vincie Boyd, who passed away in 1986. Ora Mae moved to the Edmond then Norman communities in 2002, to be near her daughter Arlene. Ora Mae was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fletcher, Oklahoma.

She is survived by daughter, Arlene Baker and her husband Brad of Norman, Oklahoma; she is also survived by grandchildren, Tawna Love of Sterling, and Larry Dale Love of Elgin, Paul Cunningham of Minco, and Bill Cunningham and wife Jowana of Altus, one son-in-law, Mickey Cunningham of Apache; Ora Mae's remaining sibling, Vida Ruth Culbertsen lives in Fletcher; great grandchildren, Jordan Rodgers, Hayley Watkins and her husband Travis and great-great grandson Bentley Watkins, Paul Michael, Craig and Blake Cunningham, Ryan and sister; Malika Cunningham, Derrick Cunningham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

One daughter, Patricia Ann Cunningham, preceded her in death; Ora Mae was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Sam, M.B., Doyle and Raymond Braly; and a sister Essie Wade.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 5:00 pm at the Primrose Event Center, with retired minister Charles Samples officiating.
