Beautiful, joyous Ivie Crader, 84, peacefully passed away at her home, surrounded by family.
She was an acclaimed teacher for Easter Seals for 20 years, receiving many awards for her work with their Creative Adult Living program and her "outstanding service to [developmentally disabled] citizens in our community." She was an established artist of many styles from portraits to whimsical and abstracts. Her love and interest in art was such that she became a docent for Crocker Art Gallery. Ivie was also an avid volunteer, donating her time and energy to many causes. She was treasured by all with whom she came into contact, becoming Mom and Grandma to many.
Ivie will be especially missed by her three children, Steve, Kia, and Matt, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild she was the light of their lives. Ivie joins loved ones who passed before her and will be forever remembered and cherished by those who remain.
There will be a Celebration of Life TBA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Easter Seals in her name.
