Gerald John Baird, Johnson City: 88 passed away June 4, 2014. He was predeceased by his first wife Florence Griffiths Baird and his brothers Howard and Robert. He is survived by his wife Muriel Baird, 2 daughters Kimlyn Baird, Jill Baird Gent (Bill), 3 stepchildren Allan Brubaker (Carole), Nancy Acker (Keith), Lois Warrick, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, twin brother George, sister Ruth Fennelly and many nieces and nephews. Jerry retired from IBM in 1984, was a WWII veteran and a member of the Masons. Jerry attended Binghamton First Assembly. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 1pm at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc. 428 Main Street Johnson City. The Rev. Randy Eliason will officiate. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton, PA. The family will receive friends on Friday at 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00pm at the Barber Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Diabetic Association 6390 Fly Rd 2nd fl. East Syracuse, NY 13057
