Abby Ann is the daughter of Henry H. Cooley and Aurora Elzinia Soper. She appears to be the third of 12 children in their family.
Abby married Joseph DeWitt on 9 November 1873. As far as I can tell from census records, they have four daughters by the name of Agnes, Alice, Ida, and Matilda.
Abby later married Charles Lafayette in 1887 and they appear to have one son by the name of Omer.
Abby died of typhoid fever in 1902 and her death record notes that she was to rest at the Alger Township Cemetery, but I cannot find her on Find A Grave in any manner of spellings, so I am to reason that either she is without a marker or it has not been recorded here yet and I am placing her here with her family as of November, 2016.
