SULLIVAN -- Betty L. Eaton Frydenger, 79, of Sullivan, passed away 2:38 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016, at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home in Sullivan. Burial will be in Keller Cemetery, Lovington. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
Betty was born May 4, 1937 in Neoga, the daughter of Kenneth W. and Margaret L. (South) Lear. She married Orville Rex Eaton on January 14, 1952; he preceded her in death on January 15, 1988. She later married Donald N Frydenger on July 7, 1991, in Decatur; he preceded her in death on November 16, 2013. She was a lifelong Baptist.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. (Jamie) Eaton of Sullivan; daughters, Sheila (Alan) Kirkwood of Sullivan and Wanda (Marty) Wilson of Sullivan. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
