Mary Jane was the daughter of James Dunwoody Clements and Sarah C. McRae, both of Telfair County, GA. She married Millard McRae 29 Nov 1877, in Telfair County. They had three sons -- James Ernest, Waldo Emerson and Royal Anthony -- and one daughter, Daisy Leigh. She died in Green Cove Springs, FL at the home of her daughter.
