Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Nelle Fort, age 83 years, at the home, 18 E. Warrick St., Knightstown Thursday, August 26th at 2:00 pm. Rev. Richard Derby Jr., will officiate. Interment in Glencove Cemetery at Knightstown.
Mrs. Fort died Monday morning after an illness of two years.
Mrs. Fort was the widow of Charles Edward Fort who preceded her in death this year in February. She was born near Raysville in Henry county and resided in Knightstown and vicinity throughout her lifetime. She was a member of the Knightstown Christian Church, she served as president of the Christian Helpers for 25 years and was a member of the Loyal Women's Class of the church.
Survivors are three daughters, Ruby Williams, Delores Diehl and Evelyn Reeves; and one son, Glen K. Fort.
