Born Aug. 1, 1949, in Owensburg, Ind., he resided in Fort Wayne until 2009.
He is survived by one son, Dustin Kimbrell of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Dodie Filchak of Ossian, Dana Smith of Hopkinsville and Dawn Kimbrell of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; two sisters; and two brothers, both of Anderson.
