Mrs. Lillian I. Van Steenburgh, 78, wife of Edward Van Steenburgh of Colebrook River died on Saturday evening at the Litchfield County Hospital shortly after being admitted. Born in Canaan, NY, on March 8, 1868, the daughter of Abram J. Blinn and Ella Terrell Blinn. She resided in Colebrook River for the past 40 years. Surviving besides her husband are a sister Rose Church of Winsted and several nephews and nieces. The body will be placed in the vault at Forest View Cemetery for burial in the Spring.
