Bob Bible, Sr. was born to Roy and Mettie Walters Bible, he retired from lawn care services and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, E.W., Wilburn, I.O. and Thomas Bible; and five sisters, Doris Harvey, Dimples Looney, Mildred Carter, Lillian Siler and Loraine Shipman.

He is survived by two sons, Bobby Bible Jr. of Chico and Robbie Bible and wife, Anna, of Bridgeport; two daughters, Jeannie King and husband, Mark, and JoAnn Bible, all of Bridgeport; two sisters, Neva Byrd of Odessa and Cassie Bible of the Metroplex; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
