George Earnest Bird, age 61, was born September 4, 1955 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and died November 9, 2016 in Angola, Indiana.
George was the oldest son of nine children born to George E. Bird and Barbara Diane (Hallam) Bird.
He is survived by his wife Debra (Gould) Bird, one daughter, Tasha Renee Shuck and her husband, Edward Shuck, he also leaves three sisters, Victoria Wolfinger of Angola, Indiana, Deborah Johnson of Osseo, Michigan, and Barbara Morford of Coldwater, Michigan, four brothers, Daniel J. Bird of Bronson, Michigan, Frank R. Bird of Flint, Michigan, Paul H. Bird of Bronson, Michigan, and Jason Bird of Coldwater, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. Bird and Barbara Diane Bird, and one brother, John C. Bird.
George was raised and attended school in Coldwater, Michigan, and served in the National Guard. George made his career in construction and site management. George was a long time resident of Angola, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Monday, November 14, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Darin Hendrey officiating. There will be calling hours held prior to the services from 11 am until 1 pm Monday.
Burial will be at the Mongo Community Cemetery at a later time.
