Dennis J. McGuillion of 13 Arch Street enlisted in the United States Navy, on July 22, 1922, at the recruiting office in the Post Office building, Troy, as an apprentice for four years. He was sent to Hampton Roads and after an eight weeks' course, will be transferred to sea service.
Dennis McGullion was able to obtain a discharge from the Navy in order to return to his bride of one year. Dennis was a third class carpenter’s man on the U.S.S. Wyoming. He married the former Miss Madelene Evensen, of 432 Saratoga St., Cohoes, on August 6, 1923.
