NORTH SMITHFIELD - Warren E. Bolduc, 88, of North Smithfield, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at his home. He was the husband of the late Mary Phyllis Bolduc, whom he married in 1952. Born in Blackstone, he was the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (McCloskey) Bolduc. He lived in North Smithfield for most of his life.

Mr. Bolduc graduated from Blackstone High School, joined the Local 57 in 1971 as an equipment operator and was also the owner/operator for many years of W.E. Bolduc and sons. In the late 40's and early 50's Warren raced stock cars in Lonsdale. He enjoyed traveling, photography, projects and building, fishing, watching his birds and Western movies. Warren loved to help others and participate in philanthropy work and town activities such as parades, coaching Little League, and working with the heritage society. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years, was proud of his Irish and French heritage, and loved his cat, Daisy.

Warren leaves his children, Michael Bolduc and his wife LuAnn of Hockessin, Del., Brian Bolduc and his wife Anne, and Nancy Bolduc, all of Slatersville; his grandchildren, Jennifer and Katie Bolduc and Kelly Betz; and several nephews and nieces. Warren was the brother to the late William and Frank Bolduc and Dorothy Mandeville, and brother-in-law to the late Thomas P. Williams.

His funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at 9 a.m. from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Church Street, Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
