Obituary of Margaret E. Claycomb
Mrs. Margaret E. Claycomb, 83, Claysburg, died Monday, July 1, 2002, at her home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1918, in Queen, a daughter of Ira and Edith (Stiffler) Musselman.
She married Glenn W. Claycomb Oct. 23, 1937, in Queen. He died Aug. 14, 1984.
Mrs. Claycomb was a member of Leamersville Grace Brethren Church. She was employed as head cook for the Claysburg Senior Center until 1984 and previously was employed by Claysburg-Kimmel School District for a number of years.
Surviving are two sons: Roger A. of Claysburg and Dale A. of East Freedom; three daughters: Joan Mellott of Breezewood, Darlene Closson of Roaring Spring and Lisa Riley of Hollidaysburg; her stepmother, Miriam Musselman; a half-brother, David Musselman; and half sister, Vickie Snyder, all of Hollidaysburg; and a half brother, Jay Musselman of Claysburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg, by Pastor Billy Aurandt.
Interment at Osterburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today, July 2, at the funeral home.
