Anna Gerlacher
Anna Belle Gerlacher, a resident of Cedar Ridge, died Thursday in Mt. Zion Hospital, San Francisco, at the age of 77.
A native of San Leandro, born June 21, 1900, Mrs. Gerlacher received her education in the Bay Area before coming to Nevada County as a young bride.
She resided here many years before moving back to the Bay Area. She had returned again to Nevada County six months ago. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers of San Francisco. Her death followed a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Gerlacher was the mother of the late Fred Langdon who died in Grass Valley in 1948. She is survived by her husband, George Gerlacher of Cedar Ridge; three stepsons, Harry Murray of Hayward, Dan Murray of San Leandro and Jim Murray of Milpitas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Hooper and Weaver Mortuary, Grass Valley. Burial will follow in New Elm Ridge Cemetery.
