Mr. Anthony “Tony” Morris Joyce, 72, of Moncks Corner, SC, a former licensed contractor and construction superintendent for Ruscon, died Sunday night at his residence.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Thursday evening, November 10, 2016 in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner. A graveside service will be held November 26, 2016 in the Bonaventure Cemetery, Canton, NC, according to DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the EOD Warrior Foundation, 701 John Sims Pkwy E, Suite 305, Niceville, FL 32578.

Mr. Joyce was born October 16, 1944 in McRae, Georgia, a son of Cessel Joyce and Delilah Belle Morris Joyce Ford. Mr. Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing with his computer and was expecting his first great grandchild in April 2017. He was predeceased by his sister, Martha Patricia Joyce.

Surviving are his wife, M. “Robbie” Harkins Joyce; a son, A. “Tony” M. Joyce, II and his wife Michele of California; two brothers, Frederick Cessel Joyce of Chattanooga, TN and Albert Butler of Lynchburg, TN; and four grandchildren, Devon Joyce, Elizabeth Miller and her husband James, Victoria Joyce, and Abbegayle Joyce.
