Mrs. Orville (Eunice) Bergene, 83, died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester. She was a resident of Adams.
Surviving are her husband; son and daughter-in-law, James and Dorothy Bergene, Adams; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Bogenrief, Mary and Marvin Fields, Winnebago, Minn.; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Bernice Anderson, Winnebago; Keith and Elnora Anderson, Fairmont, Minn.; nieces; nephews; cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday.

Eunice Anderson Bergene was born November 2, 1904, to William James and Flossie Anderson in Albion, IA. Eunice was baptized in the Presbyterian Church in Albion, Iowa.
In 1912, they moved to Huntley, MN, where she later graduated from the Huntley High School and then attended the Mankato Commercial college.
Eunice married Orville Bergene on June 9, 1926, in Winnebago, MN, and in 1941, moved to the farm north of Adams where Jim and Dorothy Bergene live now. In 1954, Orville and Eunice moved to Adams.
Eunice was confirmed in the Little Cedar Lutheran Church by Rev. O.C. Brenna in 1926.
Eunice and Orville have one son, Jim; one grandson, Mark, and one great granddaughter, Sarah.
Her favorite hymns are "Amazing Grace" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Her favorite bible verse is John 3:16.
