Frank N. Alford, 80, a longtime Ridley Park resident and formerly of Darby, died Dec. 2 at Taylor Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Alford lived in Ridley Park for 27 years. He was graphic artist who worked for an advertising firm in Philadelphia. He most recently worked for the Franklin Mint. Mr. Alford was a U.S. Navy veteran and received the America Area Medal and the World War II victory medal. He was educated at the Hussian Art School in Philadelphia.
He was the son of the late Walter B. and Alice C. Young Alford.
He was brother of the late Walter F. Alford, who died in 1996.
Survivors: Wife of 27 years, Kathleen Bonner Alford stepson, Raymond Gordon of Aston stepdaughter Sandra Gordon of Aston three step-grandchildren.
Service: 1:30 Wednesday, White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park…. Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple [Delaware Co.].
