Enumerated in Smithfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania (Bradford County and Columbia Township not yet formed) in 1810.

Wilmot Peters of the Township of Columbia in said County is wishing to keep a publick house in the house that he now liveth in – your petitioner of sd township therefore would recommend to your honours the said Peters to be a sober fit person for the performance of the same – therefore we your petitioners wish your honours to recommend him the said Peters to the Governour of the Commonwealth for the same – and we will in duty bound will ever prey

Enumerated in Columbia in 1820 residing near Baptist Hill with three males under age ten (b. 1811-20), one male of age twenty six and under age forty five (b. 1776-94), two females under age ten (b. 1811-20), and one female of age twenty six and under age forty five (b. 1776-94), engaged in agriculture. Wilmot appears on the 1822 assessment list with 6 improved acres, 55 unimproved acres, 1 cow. Wilmot appears on the 1828 assessment list of Columbia township unable to pay for schooling of children Amy, age 9; John, age 7; Alphonso, age 5.

Wilmot appears on the 1829 assessment list of Springfield Township with 10 improved acres, 52 unimproved acres and unable to pay for schooling of children, Amy, age 10; John, age 9; Alphonso, age 7; and Amanda, age 5. Wilmot appears on the 1830 assessment list of Springfield Township unable to pay for schooling of children, Ana, age 11; John, age 10; Alphonso, age 8; and Amanda, age 5.

On the 1831 assessment list of Springfield, unable to pay for schooling of children, John, age 10; and Alphonso C., age 8. On the 1832 assessment list unable to pay for schooling of children, John, age 11; and Alphonso C., age 9. On the 1833 assessment list Wilmot had transferred land to Phineas C. Williams.

Enumerated in Springfield in 1840, next to household of son Lester, with one male of age fifty and under age sixty (b. 1781-90), one female of age twenty and under age thirty (b. 1811-20), and one female of age fifty and under age sixty (b. 1781-90). They were also enumerated in Troy in 1840. They removed to Jackson Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Enumerated in Jackson in 1850, blacksmith, residing with son John and family. Enumerated in Jackson in 1860, minister. He was evidently deceased by the 1865 state census when his wife Nancy was enumerated in the household of their son John in Elmira, Chemung County, New York. Wilmot and Nancy have names inscribed on memorial markers in Millerton Cemetery, but no dates are inscribed.
