Sarah emigrated to New England and married Deacon Richard Lawrence say 1648 in New Haven, Connecticut. They were early settlers of Branford, Connecticut. They had at least two daughters who lived to adulthood and married, Esther and Bethia. One source indicates that Sarah received a bequest (money and a parcel of land) from her paternal uncle, Henry Baldwin, whose will was read on 11 September 1661. It is believed Sarah may have returned to handle the settlement, but died while in England, likely in early 1662, and buried in near her birthplace in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire, England.
