In 1916 she married Cecil S. Aldrich. To this union six children were born.
In June of 1954 she was married to Clinton Wright and moved to Lake City.
Ethel spent her life in and around Van Meter until 1952 when she moved to Emmetsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, three brothers and an infant daughter.
Survivors are five sons Paul of Van Meter, Iowa; Earl of Mason City, Iowa; Don of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Walter and Floyd; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chamberlain-Fisher Funeral Home in Van Meter with burial in Van Meter Cemetery.
