Born in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Carrie James Douglas. She was a member of Athens Christian Church and the widow of Howard N. Bramel, Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Lois Yazell of Lexington and Joyce Townes of Danville; four sons, Howard Bramel Jr., of Paris, Harold Bramel of Cherry Valley, Calif., and Paul Bramel of Texas City, Texas; four sisters, Beulah Cook of Rocky Mount, Va., Jill Moore and Ruth Scott, both of Lexington, and Marge Dumphy of Cloudland, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Memory Gardens by Gene Welsh.
