Beloved Daughter, granddaughter, and Sister. Sweet Melissa a Kind Genuine person, true and trusting loyal friend, compassionate and loving, friend to the animals and lover of life, family and God. When she saw someone hurting, she was always concerned and knew how to comfort them. She defended the underdog and never carried hate or judgment in her heart, a heart of gold. Melissa looked for the good in everyone and was just totally loving, a sensitive gentle soul. She is loved and missed by many. She was the best sister and friend anyone can have, my comforter and cheerleader , our hearts are forever broken and lives are devastated.. Grief is a gapping wound that never heals.Life can never have the same beauty or fullness. Our only hope to endure the brokeness is a grand reunion in heaven. In our sorrow there is the sweetness of her love that will live with us everyday until we're together again. . Melissa I love you with all my heart.

Melissa

Beauty comes in many forms, not only the outward face. The inside of a person's soul, contains a beautiful, compassionate place.

Melissa was a child of God, A friend, a daughter, a star, a sister, an artist, and so much more, an asset in heaven where you are.

She took the time to know you, To listen, to speak, or just to give a hug. Ready to make you feel better, surround you with her love.

To loose her we were unprepared, To forget her we will not. We humbly accept the gifts she left us, Those and her memory are all we've got.

VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO MARY FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL POEM!!

This is a poem Melissa kept many years, I think it is the way she felt about Life..

Riches That Last

We Hear of Those who have lucre, mansions, castles and such, yachts to cruise in, velvets, and worldy goods ever so much. It makes us discontented, comparing their lot with our own. The richest man can be poor with material wealth alone.

Some even condemn our maker and blame him for being unjust as if he were concerned with that which reverts in the end to dust. We all mold our own destinies, be them seemingly good or bad. but rich or poor, everyone dies and leaves what possessions he had.

There's something greater to living in apparently little things, the deeds that we do for others, the care of a wounded bird's wings, and golden rule in our hearts brings peace and content without end.. These are the riches we'll take with us, when we journey beyond the bend...
