5) Elizabeth Hedges, born 1779. Married Joshua Meek on 31 Oct 1797. They were reported in the 1820-1840 census of Smithfield TWP, Jefferson Co., OH. Census records indicate that Joshua had as many as 6 sons and 5 daughters. These records also indicate that the older female in the 1840 census was born between 1790 and 1800. This would indicate that Elizabeth died before 1840.
