Karen Lea Linell was born Wednesday, August 11, 1943 In Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Billy Monroe and Betty Lea (Singer) Deatherage. She passed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday, October 21, 2022. She was 79 years of age.
The former Miss Karen Linell Deatherage was a 1961 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She married the late Harry A. Linell, Jr. on March 17, 1962 in Broken Arrow. Karen worked as a secretary for David A. Cotter, Attorney for several years, she had also worked for Seismograph Corporation and most recently as a Comp Shopper for Walmart. Karen enjoyed reading, cooking shows, making desserts, cross stitch, sewing, traveling, especially to Disney World and her dog Cheech. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.
