Kenneth Keith Blackburn, 57, of Shepherd, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 2, 2016 in Liberty, Texas. He was born on January 27, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to Thomas Richard and Theresa Labbe Blackburn. Kenneth worked as a journeyman in the construction business. He had many hobbies some of which included riding and fixing jet skis, camping just about anywhere, going to the river, working on his cars but most of all spending time with his family. Kenneth moved from Houston to the Shepherd area where he and his wife Susan have resided for the past eleven years.Kenneth was preceded in death by his father; and his daughter Sherry Blackburn. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Susan Wedgeworth Blackburn of Shepherd, Texas; his daughter Christy Blackburn and husband Thomas Kerry of Dayton, Texas; his mother Theresa Blackburn of Livingston, Texas; his grandchildren Delanna, Dakota, Madelynn and Mason; his brothers Craig Blackburn of Dallas, Texas and Ron Blackburn of New Zealand; his sister Karen Savage of Houston, Texas; his nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends. Kenneth will be missed by all that knew him.
Kenneth will be laid to rest at a later date in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton, Texas.
