Eileen Conant, age 91, of Grand Haven, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Eileen was born June 1, 1925 to Richard and Jane (Rosema) Bosch in Grand Haven. She was married to the late Gordon Conant for 30 years prior to his passing in 1996. Eileen was an active member of Hope Reformed Church. She worked many years as a Register of Deeds Clerk for Ottawa County. Eileen had a zest for life, enjoyed traveling, and had the pleasure of visiting 48 states. She also loved camping, fishing off the pier in Grand Haven and taking daily rides with her best friend, Delbie DeGram. One of her favorite pastime activities was cheering for her grandson on the soccer field. Eileen thoroughly enjoyed entertaining family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her son, Bob (Mickey) Severance of Spring Lake; step-daughter, Linda (Tom) Cutler of Grand Rapids; step-daughter-in-law, Donna Conant of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Ryan (Holly) Severance; Alisha White, Matthew Severance; step-grandchildren, Scott (Tammy) Conant, Kelly Poniedzielski, Betsy (Cort) Musolf, Tom (Susan) Cutler, Joel (Crystal) Cutler; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Richard) Fuller, Doreen Corbett; brother-in-law, George Conant; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Delbie DeGram.

She was preceded in death by her sons, David Severance, Richard Severance; step-son, Gordon Conant, brother, Russ Bosch and sister, Dorie (Len) Hollar. The funeral service for Eileen will be 1:00 pm Monday, November 7, 2016 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 pm Monday, November 7, 2016 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Reformed Church.
