SKOWHEGAN - Adam D. Harville, Esq., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, from a major, natural, cardiac event in Skowhegan. Adam was born March 30, 1979, to David A. Harville and Jane L. Earle in Skowhegan.

He graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1997 and began his college career at Boston University. He then transferred to the University of Maine, graduating summa cum laude in 2002 with a B.A. in political science. He was a member of the honor society Phi Kappa Phi, and the national political science honor society Pi Sigma Alpha. In 2006 he received a J.D. from Syracuse University.

After spending several years practicing law in Skowhegan, in March 2016 Adam proudly partnered with attorney Don Fowler, whom he considered a dear friend and close mentor, under the name Fowler & Harville. Adam will forever be remembered as someone with a great sense of humor and a tireless work ethic. He was well-respected by many in his field and will be sorely missed by his work family and clients.

When he wasn't working, Adam enjoyed being at the family camp on Lake Wesserunsett, going for a boat ride, and playing with Remmy and Rondo, two black Labs of whom he thought the world. He loved the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Syracuse Orange basketball. He especially enjoyed spending time with Mykayla Stoutamyer and her family, raving about whatever great meals they made for him.

Adam was a friend to many and had a great, unique sense of humor. He could lighten the mood at any event with a random, and often inappropriate, quip that could make anyone laugh. He was a loving son and brother and had a very special relationship with his Nan, whom he adored more than anyone else in the world.

Adam is survived by his father, David A. Harville; brother and sister-in-law, Robert C. Harville and Jennifer M. Adams; grandmother, Mary Earle; mother and stepfather, Jane L. Earle and Douglas G. Little; significant other, Mykayla Stoutamyer; along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert W. Earle; and grandfather and grandmother, Clyde W. Harville and Odell M.Harville.

Adam will be buried in the spring of 2017 at a private ceremony at Malbon's Mill Cemetery.
