On June 24, 1856, Evelyn H. Collier married William Thomas King. She was a daughter of Henry Watkins Collier and Mary Ann Collier. Henry W. Collier was the 14th Governor of Alabama.
William Thomas King and Evelyn H. Collier King had the following children:
(1.) Evelyn Ann King - born in Paris, France and died at 2 yrs. old in Dallas Co. Ala.
(2.) Margaret Ellis King (born in New York and died a 1 year old.
(3.) Mary Evelyn King (7 Feb. 1860 - ) at King's Bend, Alabama River.
(4.) Alice Margaret King born Dallas Co. Ala.
