He was born March 17, 1954, in Monroe, the son of Merlin and Hazel Bomia. While in Monroe, he worked for Sites Work Highway Restoration. He moved to West Branch in 1995. He was a master landscaper and worked for Marvin Gardens Landscaping.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Terry, Gary, Eugene and Bobby; and son, Christopher.
Surviving are his daughters, Alexis Bomia at home, Amber Kohler of Houghton Lake and Ashleigh Kohler of Temperance; four grandchildren, Brooke’Lynn and Jae’Lynn Kohler, Collin and Colton Newbert; a sister, Linda Mexico; and his beloved collie, Cassie.
