Cathy Bennett Warren, 71, of Jesup, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016, in Jesup Healthcare Center.
The California native lived in Jesup her whole life, was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church, former secretary for the Georgia Department of Transportation, 1963 Wayne County High School Graduate, and Graduate of Atlanta College of Business. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, dancing, and antique junking. She had a passion and love for people, especially her nursing home family at Jesup Health and Rehab Center.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Nell Bennett; brother, Cary Wayne Bennett; sister, Sherry Bennett.
Survivors are her daughters, Heather Warren Elliott and Danella Warren of Jesup; grandchildren, “Woog” Roberson, Addie and Walker Elliott, all of Jesup; brother and sister-in-law, Kim (Terri) Bennett of Brunswick; nephews, Sean Bennett of Dominican Republic and Brennan Bennett of Athens; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
