Mrs. Alice Wright

OKMULGEE - Mrs. Alice Wright, 94, pioneer Oklahoman, died in a hospital here this morning.

Mrs. Wright was born in Burnet, Texas, where she started a school-teaching career She later taught at Sugar Loaf and Wister, I.T.

She came with her husband, the late William N. Wright from Johnson County to Okmulgee in 1926.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Emma Skidmore, and Mrs. Bonnie Higgs, both of 811 S. Birmingham Ave., Tulsa; Mrs. Ina Timmons, 1038 N. Gary Ave.; Tulsa; and Mrs. J. W. Hicks, Okmulgee; a son, S. C. Wright, Tatum, N.M., 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending with the Buchanan Funeral Home.
