Funeral services for Joe H. Barlow, 75, of Gilbert, LA will be 2:00 PM Sunday December 31, 2006 at Kendrick Ferry Pentecostal Church near Wisner with Rev. Bruce Lofton and Rev. Sonny Warbington officiating. Burial will follow at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Barlow was born to the union of his parents Holly and Maude Kenney Barlow on October 3, 1931 in Wisner, LA and passed from this life on December 29, 2006. Mr. Barlow was a member of Kendrick Ferry Pentecostal Church. He was also Veteran of the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Walter "Bud" Corley and Clarence Corley Jr.; three sisters: Myrtis Caldwell, Emma Jean Colvin, and Patricia Corley.
Mr. Barlow is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pauline Barlow of Gilbert, LA; two daughters: Loretta Wyles and husband Leon of Vidalia, LA and Vicki Mason and husband Mark also of Vidalia, LA; three sons: Kelley Barlow and wife Amy of Ferriday, LA, Lane Barlow and wife Donnah of Monterey, LA and Bo Barlow of Ferriday, LA.; four brothers: Earl Barlow of S.C., Herman Barlow of Wisner, LA. Quintes "Pete" Barlow of Gilbert, LA and Lannie Barlow of Ferriday, LA; two sisters: Barbara Lowe of AR, and Jeanette Roberts of Wisner, LA.; 20 Grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
