Moses Baird Adams was the son of John Adams & Susannah Hart of Sandy Springs. He married Sarah Colvin November 1, 1827 and they were the parents of eleven children. He and his wife, Sally, were recorded in the household of their son, James Adams, in the 1880 census for Vanceburg, Kentucky. It is assumed that they both died there and were interred in the Moses Adams Cemetery on the family farm.The grave of Moses is thought to be one of the five unmarked graves there.
