Emma E. Wathen was the two-year-old daughter of Dr. Richard M. Wathen and Mary Rebecca (Chapeze) Wathen. She died of quinsy as did her half-sibling, Mary C. Wathen, 1849-1856, and her siblings, Catherine E. Wathen, 1851-1856, and Benjamin J. Wathen, 1853-1859, all in a period of 12 days.

I have not found her tombstone.
