PRICE- Sometimes greatness is fleeting in this world. It comes and just as quickly it goes, but for 93 years this beautiful woman was the embodiment of greatness. She touched everyone’s life who was privileged enough to know her. Ruth Bentley Noyes, age 93, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016.

She was born November 27, 1922 in Heiner, Utah to Henry and Cora Bell Myers Bentley.

She met the man of her dreams by reluctantly going on a blind date with “the guy no one else wanted”. After that they were like peaches and cream, peanut butter and jelly, cinnamon and sugar, you couldn’t have one without the other. They left a legacy of love for their family to treasure and now they finally have their happily ever after. Married Benjamin “Ben” Noyes on November 29, 1941 in Price, Utah. He passed away on September 2, 2009.

Ruth loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed hunting and arrowheads. She liked fishing and outdoor adventures. Ruth loved service and taught her family about the power of charity. She loved her husband and she loved her family. She never missed an opportunity to support her grandchildren. She was a beautiful example of motherhood.

Survived by her children, Gaylene Gibson, Nancy (Boyd) Greenhalgh, both of Price, Kim (Paula) Noyes, Wellington; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Benny Noyes; five sisters and four brothers; son-in-law, Gib Gibson; granddaughter, Frankie Nicole Noyes and grandson, Robert Martini.

Funeral service, Thursday, November 3, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Price Sixth LDS Ward (500 South 300 West) in Price. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price, and Thursday one hour prior to service at the church.
