W.L. Cottingham Dead
W.L. Cottingham, one of the early settlers in Kansas, died at the home of a relative, Clyde Adkins, at Wilmot, Saturday morning.
Mr. Cottingham was eighty years old at the time of his death, and had been in failing health during the past six weeks.
He came to Kansas in 1854 and has lived near Wilmot on a farm since that time. His wife died several years ago.
His only child, a daughter, Mrs. Annie Williams of Los Angles, California, has been with him for two weeks.
