Mrs. Sally Jeanette Davis, 77, Gadsden, died yesterday after an illness of one year. Funeral service will be Monday at Cox Funeral Home and burial in Forrest Cemetery. Survivors, two sons, R.L. Davis and Fred Davis both of Gadsden; three brothers, R.F. Hood, Albertville; H.V. Hood, Collinsville; T.T. Hood, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. O.E. Owen, Sr., Ft. Payne; Mrs. Carl Farlow, Birmingham; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. Mrs. Davis was a Methodist, member of Eastern Star and Daughters of America.
