Son of James Preston Adcock and Rachel Goodwin. Husband of Dorothy Evelyn Priest. Father of Richard and Mike Adcock.

My grandaddy had just seen the doctor and given a clean bill of health. He walked out to the parking lot, got in his car, had a stroke and died.

He used to call me and my step-sister "June Bug" and "Doodle Bug." I'll always remember him sitting in his recliner and smoking his pipe. Everytime I smell a pipe, I think of him.
