Her mother was Annie Leona (Jordan) Simpson. Annie was still a widow on the 1930 US Census. She died in Middleboro, MA in Oct 1938 and her death notice is in the Middleboro Gazette, still listed as Annie L. Simpson. Annie married Azel Bryant Simpson on Oct. 28, 1897 in Bridgewater, MA, her second marriage, his first. Annie was the daughter of Simeon & Louisa (Pratt) Jordan. Myra's father was NOT a leader in the church- he was a carpenter. The memorial for Myra's dad is wrong. The "father" on the stone refers to him being a father/dad.
