Phillip Kevin Cook, 46, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital - Jackson, TN.

Born in Milan, TN, Mr. Cook had lived in the Arlington, TN and surrounding Memphis, TN area most of his adult life. He was a metal and steel salesman. Mr. Cook loved to barbecue with his family and friends. He also enjoyed music, and sports, which included the love he had for his Memphis Grizzlies and Auburn Tigers. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his family.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 28, 2016, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at La Belle Haven Baptist Church, 4800 Hwy 305 N, Olive Branch, MS with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at La Belle Haven Baptist Church. Burial will be held October 28, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, located in Newbern, TN. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Amy S. Cook of Arlington, TN; his mother, Kaylen (Paul Tommy) Staples of Russellville, AL; one son, Nicholas Cook of Olive Branch, MS; two daughters, Natalie Cook of Olive Branch, MS; Nicole Cook of Olive Branch, MS; two step-daughters, Rylee Garcia of Arlington, TN; Reese Garcia of Arlington, TN; two brothers, Carey (Jeanette) Cook of St. Augustine, FL; Brad (Amy) Cook of Florence, AL; and his grandmother, Betty Walker Cook of Southaven, MS.

His father, Johnny Ray Cook, preceded Mr. Cook in death.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County, 935 Farm Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
