Actress. Born Elizabeth Edna Murphy, she was a former top photographer's model in New York. Edna started in motion pictures in 1918. She appeared in 103 films from 1918 to 1933. In 1927 she married director Mervyn LeRoy. They divorced in 1932 on the grounds of desertion, which led to her becoming blacklisted, forcing her to retire.
