She was born Feb. 12, 1952, in South Bend, IN, to Richard and Jessie (Craig) Binney.
Sharon was a member of First Pentecostal Church in LaPorte, was active in the Find a Grave Organization, wrote children’s stories that have been published in Christian magazines, loved spending time with family, and loved flowers. Sharon’s hobbies included genealogy, camping, reading, and attending craft festivals such as The Covered Bridge Festival.
On June 3, 1978, she married Edwin Snow, who survives.
Sharon also leaves behind her sons, Phillip (Nicole) Snow of Plano, IL, and Shawn (Katie) Snow of LaPorte; grandchildren, Jacob Snow (10), Zachary Snow (8) and Joshua Snow (6); and brother, Ron Binney of Amana, IA.
Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Cemetery, LaPorte.
